Elizabeth (Liz) Hart |Intimacy Coordinator

With over 25 years of experience as a Hair and Makeup (HMU) Designer in the film industry, Elizabeth has developed a deep, practical understanding of the fast-paced demands on set. She has worked on large-scale productions with renowned companies such as Marvel, Disney, Netflix, and the BBC. This extensive experience has given her a unique and intimate insight into the emotional pressures faced by both performers and crew, which ultimately inspired her to train as an Integrative Psychotherapist.

Elizabeth’s therapeutic work draws on a range of approaches — including Systemic, Psychodynamic, Person-Centred, and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) — complemented by training in Tantra, somatic awareness, and human sexuality. These qualifications, combined with her substantial background in film production, equip her with the expertise to step onto any set with confidence as an Intimacy Coordinator, adapting fluidly to the needs of both cast and crew.

She brings a grounded, trauma-informed approach to intimacy coordination, prioritising open communication, consent-led processes, and psychological safety. Elizabeth fosters a respectful and supportive environment where actors and crew feel seen, heard, and protected.

Testimonials:

"Liz possesses the core qualities of a great intimacy coordinator: empathy, discretion, communication skills, and an intuitive understanding of power dynamics on set. Her ability to hold space for vulnerability, while ensuring artistic integrity and logistical efficiency, was deeply appreciated by both cast and crew.”
