Kianosh (he/him) is an Intimacy Coordinator (SAG-AFTRA accredited certificates) based in the UK. As an Intimacy Coordinators Kianosh adhere to the highest professional standards, including SAG-AFTRA intimacy standards & protocols, Equity intimacy guidelines and Time’s Up intimacy recommendations.

 

Kianosh has an extensive training portfolio from Intimacy Directors and Coordinators (IDC), Intimacy Professionals Association (IPA), Theatrical Intimacy Education (TIE) and Principal Intimacy Professionals (PIPs), Kianosh’s training far exceeds certification requirements. He also has a LLB Law (Hons) degree.

 

Kianosh has been trained by many of the worlds leading Intimacy Coordinators, a selected few are Alicia Rodis (In-house IC for HBO Studios, Pretty Little Liars, Watchmen, Just Like That), Claire Warden (First Intimacy Director on Broadway, Slave Play, Gossip Girl, West Side Story) and Marcus Watson (American Horror Story 20th Century, The Penguin DC/HBO, Maestro Netflix)

As a multi-hyphenate artist from the global majority and having first hand understanding of the actors process allows Kianosh to support the directors vision whilst advocating for and adhering to the consent levels and boundaries of the actors. Using a trauma informed approach to his work, Kianosh is dedicated to fostering inclusive creative environments based on a culture of consent. In addition to helping to strengthen the representation of intimacy that is inclusive of all genders and identities, Kianosh is passionate about telling stories in a conscious, genuine way. His goal is to make sure actors are going into scenes feeling clear, informed and as comfortable as possible. Kianosh is present to mitigate risk for the actors, crew and production.
