James has over 31 years of experience in film and television sound production. He began his career with independent Welsh production companies before spending many years as a boom operator on long-running drama series, developing a reputation for technical excellence and professionalism.

Since becoming a Production Sound Mixer in 2021, James has worked on a number of high-profile productions, including the internationally acclaimed Lost Boys and Fairies, for which he received a BAFTA Cymru nomination. Equipped with a comprehensive drama sound package and supported by an experienced team, James is known for his calm approach, reliability, and consistently delivering outstanding production sound.
