Susanna is a hair, makeup, wigs, prosthetics and special fx designer who is equally skilled in the depiction of realism and the presentation of elaborate fantasy. She is passionate about the beauty and importance of accurate period detail alongside delivering unconventional character interpretation.
Her feature film debut as a designer was the Micheal Powell Award winning and Bafta nominated 'Skeletons'.
She has since collaborated with world renowned artists, writers and directors such as Ai Wei Wei, Martin McDonagh, Alan Moore, Complicité and Ivo Van Hove across film, opera, theatre, fine art, photography and comic books.
Susanna also has her own studio in London.
